In July we took a two week vacation: One week with John's family and one week with mine - we are into equality in this family. For our Blaser family vacation we went up to Donnelly, Idaho and stayed with John's sister, Becky and her family. On our drive up we decided to take the 12 hour trip and divide it into three drives.
Drive one: we drove through Squaw Valley Ski Resort (that place is gorgeous), and Lake Tahoe (I had never been - also gorgeous), we spent our first night in Winnemucca (not quite as gorgeous.)

Drive two: From Winnemucca we drove up to Boise, Idaho and visited first with my good friend Amber and her husband Mike and their two kids and they we stayed the night with my Aunt and Uncle (Sheri, Lothar and cousin Nic). It was great to see all you guys, thanks for the visiting and housing.

We had almost all the Blaser kids up at the Jones house which made for a lot of people, 23 or something like that. We had a great time hanging out, swimming, tying hay down with tarps in a rain storm (things like that happen on the ranch!), and being together.

Beautiful pictures. Parker really wants to settle in Boise. I have no idea what Boise is like - but Amber is there so it must be fun :)

winnemucca is quite possibly one of my least favorite places on this earth. tahoe and idaho on the other hand, are not.
