Utah trip (July)

The second leg of our two week vacation was spent in Utah. First we went to Bear Lake where we had a birthday party for my Grandpa. All his kids and almost all of his grandchildren came up to help celebrate. It had been a long time since we had that many of the family all together. Don't worry, we all got along! We went boating, tried out the new wake skate, went fishing and practiced our open water swimming in the lake (John and I were preparing for a triathlon and my mom wants to swim in the senior Olympics).

Picture of all the grandkids who were at the party with Grandpa.Maisey hitching a ride on the tube. Right after this picture was taken Maisey proceeded to attempt to jump off the tube!

We left Bear Lake and stopped in Logan Utah to visit my old roommate from college, Stacey. We got ice cream and the Aggie ice cream store. I also bought some squeaky cheese that completely grossed John out. I liked it. Anyways...

We spent the next few days in Ogden hanging out with my family. Having a baby shower for Abbi, going boating and Pineview Reservoir, and visiting other family and friends.

All in all, our extended vacation across multiple states was a success. Maisey dealt really well with all of the changes, the driving, and new people and we can't wait to see our family again soon!

What a vaca! Don't you just love how far out you can walk in Bear Lake? It is the best for kids. Too bad it's freezing!

That is a cute shot of all the girls!
