Apple Hill

The month of October has literally flown by for me. Before I move on to November I wanted to blog about some of the "Fall" things we did this month. I love fall!! It may be my favorite season. Although, what I really like is having 4 distinct seasons but living on the west coast makes that a little hard.

Anyways, Maisey and I took a fun day trip with my in-laws to a Blaser family favorite - Apple Hill. Me being the newcomer to California naively thought Apple Hill was one little hill where people grew apples. Oh no! There are over 50 "little hills" you can visit, each with their own different activities and specialties to draw you in.

We visited two different Apple Hill sites, Boa Vista Orchards and High Hill Ranch. They both had great tasting apples, craft booths and my favorite - caramel apples! It was beautiful weather and we had a really nice time. Maisey did have a little accident which found it's way to me and my jacket, but other than that the day was pretty easy!

Maisey looks so annoyed to be there doesn't she?

She looks like she just thought something really funny to herself. What's the joke?? Oh yeah, I'm going to go to the bathroom on mom later - hee hee hee!

Mom and Maisey in front of a bunch of pumpkins just moments before the dreaded accident.

Lisa and Maisey in front of the fish pond.

I had to put this one because Maisey has her tongue out - she has it out like this 90% of the time!
