Bishop's Pumpkin Farm

The second of my October Fall activities was a trip to Bishop's Pumpkin Farms. This farm was started way back when by a family named Bishop. The mother decided to plant a pumpkin patch and invite school kids over for field trips and the rest is pumpkin farm history! I went with a few girls from my ward and their kids. Maisey wasn't totally into it at first since most of the stuff wasn't made for kids as little as she is.

My first attempt to get her involved was to take a picture next to a height chart. Maisey got totally scared of the pumpkin that was painted on the wall beside the chart.

You can see from the look on her face she was not happy with this place.
But at least we have it documented that she is just over 2 feet tall! She gets scared pretty easy these days. Animals and things that make noises are not okay with her. The farm had a petting zoo as well. I took her through it very cautiously. She was quite wary of the animals the entire time.

This picture is another attempt by me to get her involved. All the other kids were taking pictures in the stalks, so why not Maisey. Oh well, at least I tried right?

The best parts of the outing for Maisey were the train ride and the hay pile.
Here we are on the train ride.

Now here are a few different moments from the hay pile. First here are two of the other kids we went with. We started out with three...

Then Maisey and Joey get a surprise friend...

A fourth baby is added to the mix. Isn't it fun when you are taking pictures of your kids and total strangers decide that they, or in this case, their kid should be in your picture too!
At least the baby was super cute.

So the next few pictures are of Maisey just loving the hay.

"I Love to Play in the Hay..."

"I Love to Eat Hay..."

"I'm Crazy About Hay!!!"

And lastly, "What, is something on my face?"

So cute! You know I always thought she looked more like John but in these pics she reminds me of when Erin was a baby!
