Back in the groove

Saturday May 3rd John, Anne (John's little sis) and I ran the American River Parkway 5K. We ran it in just over 28 minutes. It felt good to push myself. I'm not a very fast runner so this was something I did to push me. I'm hoping to do at least another 5K this month and maybe a 10K. We didn't take Maisey with us, this was taken after the race at the Blaser's. Take a closer look at Maisey, doesn't she look like a grumpy old man with the furrowed brows and the jutting bottom lip - that's my girl!

You are awesome. I have been wanting to start running, but then I remember it would require me to run. Catch 22. I just keep telling myself to start small. Keep it up!

I love her little scowl!

Excellent! We can run one together. Nate and I decided we like 5K's the best. I want to start up again with running around August...just so I don't spaz out as much if my milk goes down for Sarah.
